Our Faith
St Thomas the Apostle Greensborough North
Religious Education
Inspired by the story of our patron St Thomas the Apostle, ‘with open eyes’ we celebrate our Catholic tradition, seeking spiritual encounters that deepen our relationship with others and God. We welcome children and families of all faiths into our community.
The Religious Education Curriculum at St. Thomas the Apostle supports the holistic development of students, focusing on their spiritual, moral, social, emotional, and intellectual growth. Grounded in our Catholic tradition, the program emphasises the core values of love, compassion, hope, forgiveness, friendship, and equality. Through engaging lessons and reflective practices, students deepen their understanding of faith, strengthen their moral character, and foster meaningful connections with others.

Sacrament, Prayer & Liturgy
Our students actively participate in the spiritual life of the school community through regular attendance at Mass. Year levels attend Weekday Parish Mass throughout the year, deepening their connection to their faith and our community. Weekend family Masses are scheduled across each term.
Whole-school Masses are held regularly to celebrate liturgical seasons, events and feast days.
We have a culture of prayer which is embedded as part of our everyday learning and living. We begin each school day with Whole School Christian meditation and prayer led by our Student Leaders, grounding students in mindfulness, reflection and gratitude.
Through partnership with families and St Thomas the Apostle Parish, baptised Catholic students are invited to receive the sacraments in the following years:
Reconciliation in Year 2
First Eucharist in Year 3
Confirmation in Year 5/6 (celebrated on alternate years)
